Prof. Kolapo Omidire
Chairman
Kolapo was at different times Company Secretary to three publicly quoted companies, namely- Dunlop Nigeria plc, DN Meyer plc, and Guaranty Trust Bank plc for a period spanning 15 years. He joined Guaranty Trust Bank plc as a Senior Manager in July 1996. He rose to the position of General Manager responsible for the strategic management of the Bank’s legal services & corporate secretariat, administration and facilities management, corporate affairs, safety & security, and special projects.
As the Legal Adviser to GTBank for over 10 years, he was responsible for the documentation of several transactions including the Eurobond, the Bank’s GDR, financial transactions with multilateral institutions like IFC, Afrexim, and FMO, as well as the listing of the Bank’s shares on the London Stock Exchange.
He assumed the headship of the Bank’s Retail Banking Division in July 2006, [combining that with his assignment as the Bank’s Company Secretary] to implement the Bank’s retail strategy and within one year, he succeeded in increasing customer base by over 35%, with significant increase in balance sheet. He was at a time the Managing Director of Mansard Insurance Plc.
In furtherance of GTBank’s business expansion drive, Kolapo was again requested to establish GTHomes Limited, which commenced business in January 2008 as a primary mortgage institution. He ran the company as Managing Director/ CEO, until he finally disengaged from the Bank’s services in April 2009.
He is currently the Chairman of the Board of Directors of DataMax Registrars Limited
Olufisola Folayan (FCA)
Managing Director
Olufisola is a career professional in the financial services sector with over 20 years work experience covering General Administration, Finance, Accounting, Banking, Business Operations, Business Development, Securities Registration and Capital Issues within the Nigerian Capital Market. The core of her work experience is in share registration and securities administration.
Prior to her appointment as the Managing Director of DATAMAX Registrars, she had successfully managed two of the top five share registration companies in the industry. She is a former Managing Director of Greenwich Registrars and Data Solutions Limited (GRDS) and preceding this, she was the Registrar at Coronation Registrars Ltd (formerly United Securities Ltd).
Outside of her core, she veered into the manufacturing and construction sectors at Executive Management level as an Executive Director at LV Foods and Beverages Ltd, an FMCG company and in a diversified infrastructure and construction services company.
Olufisola is a graduate of Accounting and Finance, a Fellow of the prestigious Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), an Associate of the Institute of Capital Market Registrars (ICMR) and an alumnus of the Lagos Business School.
Misan Kofi-Senaya
Non-Executive Director
Misan is a Fellow of the Institute of Capital Market Registrars, and also a member of the Nigerian Bar Association and the Federation of International women Lawyers and was the immediate past financial secretary of FIDA Lagos. She has over 23 years experience in securities register/data administration business gained whilst with Centre Point and United Securities. She has considerable experience in securities register/data administration services, having managed all aspects of the business over the years.
Before joining DataMax Registrars limited as Registrar/CEO, she was the head of securities register/data administration of United Securities Limited from 1999 to 2005. Prior to this, she started off teaching law at the University of Ibadan, Law Faculty then practicing law for a year after which she joined Centre Point Securities Limited.
She holds an LLB degree from Buckingham University, United Kingdom (1984) and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1986. She has attended numerous courses in share registration, handwriting and signature analysis as well as in other diverse areas such as export promotion and in total quality management.
Misan was recently appointed a member of the Board of Trustees of the Investors Protection Fund of The Nigerian Stock Exchange, as a representative of the Institute of Capital Market Registrar.
Nicholas Nyamali (FCIS)
Non – Executive Director
Nicholas is the Managing Director of Investment One Financial Services limited as well as a director of GTB Securities Limited and several other companies. He has about 20 years experience working in the investment and securities, banking, management consultancy and legal profession both in Nigeria and internationally. Nicholas obtained his law degree from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ife and is called to the Nigerian Bar. He holds a Masters degree in Law (LL.M), a Masters of Science degree in Economics (MSc Economics), both from the University of Lagos; as well as an MBA from the London Business School, United Kingdom, specializing in strategy and international business management. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators, UK and Nigeria; as well as a Member of the Chartered Institute of Securities & Investment, UK.
Nicholas started his career as a barrister and solicitor with the law firm of Haruna & Co. He then joined Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers), where he rose to the position of senior consultant in the Business Advisory and Company Secretarial Group. He joined Guaranty Trust Bank, working at various times in the legal, corporate bank and corporate finance teams. He was Legal Adviser/Head of Legal Department of the Bank before moving to Port Harcourt to lead the Bank’s corporate banking business in the Eastern region as Regional Manager. He thereafter moved to London, where he worked with the Debt Capital Market Group of Barclays Capital (the securities trading and investment banking arm of Barclays Bank). He subsequently joined McKinsey and Company, the preeminent global firm of management and strategy consultants, working in the London and Johannesburg offices. While in McKinsey & Company, he served as a strategy consultant to several global corporations including investment banks and hedge funds clients based in Europe, America and Asia. He returned to Nigeria in 2008 to partner with GTBank in setting up (Investment One Financial Services Limited), where he currently works as managing director.
Nicholas is a non- Executive Director in the Company.
Adedeji Oshunlana
Independent Director
Deji is an Innovative Technology Executive. He has a B.Sc (Hons) in Material Science and Engineering from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife. He is currently Co-Founder, Executive Director and Chief Technology Officer at SeamlessHR, Africa’s biggest HR & Payroll Software Company, and also sits on the Board at Datamax Group, former GTBank Registrars.
As an experienced developer, who started developing actively in 1997, he has worked in Digital Jewels Limited, MTech Communications, United Bank of Africa (UBA), First Bank of Nigeria (FBN) and has consulted for over 40 public, private and government organizations in Nigeria and globally. With over 20 years’ software development experience and delivering creative, client-centric tools, with value-driven solutions, Deji has always demonstrated proven leadership experience ranging from evaluating technology to developing niche products for bootstrapped and venture-backed start-ups. He is highly data-driven, a creationist and committed to designing coherent enterprise platforms with a wide range of technical domain expertise and business acumen.
In 2012, he co-founded Insidify.com – Africa’s leading social job aggregator platform. Under his leadership, the company had over 3 million jobs, 400,000+ CVs and processed over 70k+ new CVs annually. He oversaw the pivot of the company technology assets and processes from a social job site to an Enterprise SaaS. As the Co-founder and CTO of SeamlessHR limited, he is responsible for the strategic direction of product development and upholding the company’s position at the forefront of technology, innovations, information security and data protection.
