Olufisola Folayan (FCA)

Managing Director

Olufisola is a career professional in the financial services sector with over 20 years of work experience covering General Administration, Finance, Accounting, Banking, Business Operations, Business Development, Securities Registration and Capital Issues within the Nigerian Capital Market. The core of her work experience is in share registration and securities administration.

Prior to her appointment as the Managing Director of DATAMAX Registrars, she had successfully managed two of the top five share registration companies in the industry.  She is a former Managing Director of Greenwich Registrars and Data Solutions Limited (GRDS) and preceding this, she was the Registrar at Coronation Registrars Ltd (formerly United Securities Ltd).

Outside of her core, she veered into the manufacturing and construction sectors at Executive Management level as an Executive Director at LV Foods and Beverages Ltd, an FMCG company and in a diversified infrastructure and construction services company.

Olufisola is a graduate of Accounting and Finance, a Fellow of the prestigious Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), an Associate of the Institute of Capital Market Registrars (ICMR) and an alumnus of the Lagos Business School.

 

Shola Michael

Head, System & Controls Unit

Shola Michael is the Head of the Systems & Control Unit at DataMax Registrars Limited, with over fifteen years of experience in compliance and share registration services.

He holds a B.Sc. (Ed.) in Mathematics from University of Ilorin, a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting from Lagos State University, and an MBA in Finance from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology.

Shola is a Certified Fellow of the Association of Enterprise Risk Management Professionals (AERMP), a Certified Member of the Institute of Capital Market Registrars (ICMR), and a Registered Sponsored Individual (Compliance Officer) with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

His expertise spans compliance management, risk management, internal controls, and share registration operations, contributing significantly to the efficiency and regulatory compliance of registrar services.

Godwin Oduomah

Financial Controller

Godwin Oduomah is a finance and capital market professional with membership affiliations to the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (CIS) and the Institute of Capital Market Registrars (ICMR). He is an alumnus of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State, where he obtained both his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Executive MBA. He is a registered sponsored individual with the Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC).

With nearly a decade of professional experience spanning the capital market, fleet operations, and FMCG sectors in Nigeria, Godwin has developed strong expertise in financial management, corporate finance, and investment analysis.

He currently serves as the Financial Controller at DataMax Registrars Limited, where he plays a strategic role in driving financial efficiency and supporting business growth. His areas of expertise include corporate transactions advisory, investment evaluation, financial modelling, budgeting and forecasting, financial reporting, portfolio management, and risk management.

Godwin is recognized for his analytical approach and ability to resolve complex financial and operational issues. He also maintains strong relationships with regulatory institutions and contributes to value creation through sound financial and strategic decision-making.

Ndifreke Essien

Head, Advisory Services Unit

Ndifreke Essien is a dedicated and results-oriented professional with experience in shareholder services, register advisory operations, and business process management.

Currently serving as a Registration Officer at DataMax Registrars Limited within the Register Advisory Services Unit, he plays a strategic role in assisting shareholders and beneficiaries in resolving complex shareholding and dividend-related matters with efficiency and professionalism.

With a strong understanding of registrar operations and shareholder administration, Essien specializes in guiding clients through asset recovery processes, and related regulatory procedures. He is recognized for delivering seamless customer-focused solutions while ensuring compliance with operational and regulatory standards within the capital market industry.

Demonstrating strong organizational and leadership capabilities with the ability to manage responsibilities efficiently, he is recognized for his proactive approach to problem-solving and commitment to delivering quality service.

His experience spanning nearly a decade across both capital market operations and FMCG management has equipped him with strong decision making, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.

Essien has a BSc in Accounting and an MBA both from the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife and is an Associate of the institute of Capital Market Registrars.

Ayoola Bamgbose

Client Services Unit

Ayoola Bamgbose is a capital market professional with experience in registrar operations, client relationship management, and business development within the Nigerian financial services industry. She currently works with DataMax Registrars Limited, where she is actively involved in client acquisition, shareholder services, corporate action administration, and stakeholder engagement.

Ayoola possesses practical knowledge of primary and secondary market transaction processing, dividend administration, e-dividend mandate management, share registration services, and shareholder account management. Her experience also extends to supporting Annual General Meetings (AGMs), Extraordinary General Meetings (EGMs), and virtual shareholder engagement processes.

She has demonstrated strong competence in managing client relationships, coordinating with institutional stakeholders, and providing prompt resolution to shareholder enquiries while ensuring compliance with regulatory and operational standards. She is recognized for her professionalism, attention to detail, communication skills, and commitment to delivering efficient service solutions within the financial services sector.

She is a graduate of Bells University of Technology, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Economics. She is also an Associate of the Institute of Capital Market Registrars (ICMR) and a sponsored officer with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
